The Kirwa celebrations in Amberg are taking place in Ammersricht, 24-27/04/2009.
I went yesterday. There was good music, great atmosphere and superb beer.
The Bavarians know how to party. There is always an occasion and an excuse :-)
They wear traditional clothes and hats, and after they drink a Mass (German - Maß), which means 1 Liter beer, they become very happy.
