רכיבה בשלג
מכירים את הקטעים בסרטים המצויירים שיש ענן שרודף אחרי דמות וממטיר עליה גשם?
היום יצאתי בבוקר והיו שמיים בהירים אבל ברגע שעליתי על האופניים ירד גשם כבד שהפך לשלג כבד עם רוח חזקה - מקפיא את הפנים לחלוטין.
הכל פסק כאשר נעלתי את האופניים בכניסה למפעל.
התגעגעתי לרכיבה בשלג...עברו עבר 5 שנים מהפעם האחרונה.

beer
Thats it. i can safely say i found my favorate beers.
Its not like i tested all the beers here in Bayern, this lifelong task is far from done.
I did however find 2 beers that i really like:
Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier Hell (Naturtrüb). This is my favorate.
Erdinger Hefe-Weissbier Hell (Naturtrüb).
And sometimes when i need a change, or when there are no Weissbier glass around, i drink this one:
Falkenfelser Weissbier Hell

איזה כיף לשתות עם רוסים
אתמול אני מגיע למרתף שלי ושומע קולות ברוסית....הילדה הסתקרנה אז חיפשנו ובאמת באיזור המשותף של קומת המרתפים מצאנו את השכן הרוסי + שני חברים יורדים על שני בקבוקי וויסקי - הם היו כבר די שיכורים לקראת סוף הבקבוק השני
שולחן פלסטיק וספסל מאולתר....כיבוד וסיגריות
הם הציעו לנו כיבוד: לשירה ממתק ולי וויסקי

אז שתיתי איתם כוסית והם ספרו לי כמה הם אוהבים את ישראל ורוצים שיהיה לה טוב - נראה לי שבשלב זה הם היו באמת במצב רוח טוב
אשתי אומרת שהיא לא נסעה עד גרמניה כדי להגיע לקרית ים ג'
אני דווקא הייתי מבסוט ואם הייתי בלי הילדה שלי הייתי בטח נשאר איתם עוד

Did you ever wonder how software engineers tell if they are hungry?
They simply look at their watch. If its the usual time they go to eat(my buddies eat at 12:30), then they would say "I am hungry", but if its only a few minutes earlier, they would say "nah, its too early, i am not hungry yet"
BTW, in Germany they say Mahlzeit instead of hello if its somehow related to eating, so if you meet someone and she is on her way to eat something she would greet you with "Mahlzeit".
Even if the context is not meal-related, and the time is between 09:30 to 10:30(breakfast) or 11:30 to 13:00(lunch), people will usually greet you with Mahlzeit.
A common translation could be "Enjoy your meal".

Germany
So, three weeks ago i moved to Germany to a small town close to Nürnberg.
Its a very nice city with lots of old buildings, churches and castles.
I enjoy just walking about and looking at the buildings.
I work in a complete open space environment called Grossraum in German. I can't imagine working in such an environment in Israel. Here it is very quite, you could hear maybe one mobile phone ring during the day. The people are talking quietly. In Israel it was very difficult to work even with one more person in the same room: people talk aloud and their mobile phones are set to ring (not just vibe like they set them here) and they use the speaker phone function often.
The beer here is excellent. There are many brands to choose for. Oh, and since i live in Bayern, i am allowed to drink one beer during my lunch break...which i never will, but nevertheless its a nice thing to have.
My favorite type of beer is the Hefe Weizen, which is made of wheat and there are brewers yeast at the bottom. you must drink it from a glass, so that you could enjoy the yeast. Pour 80% of the bottle gently to your glass(so that it wont foam too much), and them stir the rest vigorously, then pour it to the glass. Enjoy.
